We've got one Sure Thing show tonight at the Portland Bay Festival VIC and then it's a couple of weeks break before the actual BACK TO THE FUTURE tour begins at the Grace Emily in Adelaide on November 29th. I'm really looking forward to getting out there and playing some new stuff. If anyone is interested, there's a couple of new songs up on the DIG radio website that you can listen to and by the time the tour begins there should be a good half a dozen for you to get familiar with (while you are supposed to be working).
There are already some new shows added to the tour - a great looking little festival at Gladysdale in eastern Victoria and did I mention that Weddings, Parties, Anything are doing the Espy street party on Sunday November 30th? It seems kind of real soon to be dusting off those boots again but at the last tour's end we agreed that if a good gig came along then we would take it and believe me this looks like a good gig - so for one night only it's BACK TO THE PAST from BACK TO THE FUTURE and if you're confused then try remembering all the words pal.
Speaking of the new stuff we spoke to Liberation this week and they seem keen to release the new record so there's a rough release date set for March/ April. Working title is Casino Trousers - what do you reckon? Is it a goer?
See you at a show...
