Having just visited Australia for a handful of shows in August that sold out in record time, The Kooks were welcomed to deafening screams by Australian fans who had lined up around the corner and up the alley well before the doors opened. Chugg Entertainment & XIII Touring are pleased to announce that The Kooks will return for summer Festivals (Falls, Southbound and Byron Arts & Music Festival) and headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne.

The Kooks critically acclaimed debut album 'Inside In/Inside Out' sold in excess of two million copies worldwide, spawning massive hit singles 'She Moves In Her Own Way', 'You Don't Love Me', 'Sofa Song', 'Eddie's Gun', 'Ooh La' and 'Naïve'. The band quickly came to be regarded as a classic British song-writing outfit, able to stand alongside The Kinks, Oasis, Coldplay or any number of others you care to mention, simply because they understand what makes pop music great.

The Kooks are indeed a rare cultural phenomena; living proof that pop music can still be great, original and flavoursome. The lads continue to sell-out shows across the globe, establishing themselves as a classic British Band. The band released their sophomore album 'Konk' earlier this year, which flew into the Top 10 Australian ARIA chart. It was recorded at Ray Davies' Konk Studios in north London and has since delivered radio favourites such as 'Always Where I Need To Be' and 'Shine On', coupled with a stupendous live show you will wanna get your tickets fast.
