The Redux Mixtape is a perfect snapshot of The Tongue’s grasp of clarity and flow in his songwriting, exhibiting the humour and talent that got him signed to Elefant Traks. In amongst hip hop politics, love and life; he manages to convincingly re-imagine classic hip hop tunes such as Ice Cube’s ‘It Was a Good Day’ and Jay-Z’s ‘Show Me What You Got’.
