As days count down until THE GETAWAY PLAN kick-off their biggest and most talked-about headline journey yet - the Where The City Meets The Sea Tour - the band has announced it’s Western Australian dates.
THE GETAWAY PLAN will rock the foundations of the Prince Of Wales, Bunbury on Friday 29 August as well as the Rosemount Hotel, North Perth on Saturday 30 August. Stay turned for an announcement of an all ages show for Western Australian fans soon.
‘Where the City Meets the Sea’ is on rotation at Nova nationwide, and was one of the Top 10 most played videos on Channel V throughout May. The single will be released with two B-sides on June 7 via Boomtown Records and is the second hit to come from the band’s debut full-length album ‘Other Voices, Other Rooms’, which made headlines when it debuted at #14 on the ARIA Charts in February.
In addition to this success, THE GETAWAY PLAN has been invited to open the pre-race entertainment at Melbourne’s only V8 Supercar Championship series race, the Midas 400 at Sandown Raceway on Monday 9 June! THE GETAWAY PLAN will play to a 40,000+ crowd of V8 fans with the performance being broadcast live on free-to-air Network 7.
