Kate Miller-Heidke - Words (Single)

The new single “Words” from Kate Miller-Heidke and her five piece band is amazingly unique sounding. Working with a mixture of quirky string sounds, guitar and keyboard Kate and her band draw in the listener. Her almost angelic voice then pushes through these sounds and captures the listener. This single truly shows the depth of this bands talent. The second track on the words single is the album mix of the title track; the producer, Magoo, has taken an edge off the strings creating a slightly softer track focusing more on Kate’s voice, being the center point of the music.

The final track on the single is “We’re Gonna Need Love” is a more traditional love song, focusing on the important things a couple needs to survive in this world; love, money and friends. This final track is a showcase of Kate’s voice and people will fall in love with her again, as I have. This is a great song to help you to realize how special that special person in your life is.
