Oh, Grafton Primary. I want to like your new single as much as I liked your first one. I want to get my emotional ass onto the dance floor with you and feel the beat but I've got to be honest with you Grafton Primary - it's just not happening for me. Look, I know you say it has a driving bass line, and that may be the case. But it feels like we're on the highway and you've got things set to cruise control and to be honest about it, I just don't want to cruise with you Grafton Primary.
I want to be thrown around the backseat while you take corners at ridiculously high speeds and put my life at risk. The thing that is niggling away at me about She Knows It is that listening to it doesn't even require a seatbelt.
See, it's nice enough. I'm sure the Faker fans of the world will approve and personally, I would have no qualms if this track was buried away on your album, somewhere in the second half where a little cruising often feels right. But I think that this is the core of the problem with She Knows It - whilst you've got most of the 'synth-tastic' vibes down (catchy enough hook, not particularly offensive vocals) as a second single it just doesn't quite deliver the grunt I'm requiring from you, especially not when the first single was so delightfully promising. She Knows It is simply too tame, too safe.
